Our Story
Adventure, Resilience, & a Little Bit of Magic
Hi, I’m Shelley Hipps — founder of Infinite Design & Marketing, born and raised right here in Swannanoa. Before any of this, I sold magazines door-to-door across 17 states at 19, then chased adventure through five cities in Colorado, graduating college while living out of my van with my dog and cat (and jumping out of half the planes I’ve ever been on — no regrets).
Life eventually brought me home, through loss that changed everything and taught me how to start over — more than once. My dad used to say, “it’s always something.” He was right — but he also taught me it’s up to you whether that something breaks you or builds you.
With 20+ years in design and marketing — starting college for graphic design at just 16 — and a bachelor’s degree in business currently underway, I’m building this business to do exactly that: help this community, and yours, keep moving forward too. A little adventure, a little resilience, and yeah — a little bit of magic along the way.

Our Mission
I started Infinite Design & Marketing on a simple belief: people helping people is how the world should work. I found out later in life that I carry Cherokee heritage through my birth father’s side, and later found my brother too — it’s like we never knew a day apart, even though we grew up not knowing the other existed. That bond, and the heritage behind it, is exactly why I believe in showing up for people, no matter how or when.
That spirit is the foundation of this business. My mission is to help people who are fighting for the opportunities they deserve, especially the ones who’ve been knocked down and are getting back up anyway. We succeed by helping each other succeed — that’s not just good business, it’s who I am.
